"Head...Shoulders...Knees and...SOCKS!"

I sit curled up on our worn out couch, catching up on my TV, snuggled under my lime green fleece blanket, multi-tasking with my laptop and the most recent issue of Entertainment Weekly.  Waiting for the snow that seems to be looming above in the cold gray sky.  Thinking about how fortunate I am to have such an incredible family, a wonderful thoughtful husband (yes even with his Alison Stewart fixation) and my brilliant funny son.  Enjoying my early afternoon off... basking in the glow of my good fortune at DSW and formulating my plan of action for the next 24 hours: dinner, bedtime, frosting and constructing the turkey cake, wrapping presents.

All while the cat sits inches away on the arm of the couch - staring at me, purring, mewing, and drooling - waiting to be fed.
