"Head...Shoulders...Knees and...SOCKS!"

I really can't stand Spring. For a southern girl, it surprises people that I actually much prefer Fall and Winter. I mean come on...walking on crunchy leaves, the calm of watching the snow fall, drinking slurpees and eating ice cream in the cold, and football! That is way better than the hot cold hot cold of becoming spring, your car turning yellow from the pollen, itchy eyes, lots of sneezing, and more bugs!

Every spring seems to bring the bugs into our house. Maybe it's the increase in rain pushing them out of the ground. We've got ants in our bathroom, bees (big fat mo-fos!) in our basement, and a couple spiders in the front hall. I've also gotten rid of a couple of those super creepy crawlie things with a gajillion legs in the bathrooms as well. ICK!!!! I'm totally a girly girl about that sort of thing. Spouse has been at me to call the exterminator again - especially about the bees. We've found two in the basement in the past week, and then Spouse had one in the car today. Spouse now has anxiety that child will get stung and something horrible will happen to him. I'm sure he will be fine, but of course it is something that I also worry about. Hopefully the exterminator will be able to rid of these unwanted things!
