"Head...Shoulders...Knees and...SOCKS!"

So I did something embarassing on the internet today. I bought a bathing suit. Online. Why? Because I hate trying on swimsuits and I have to get a new one because we signed the Child up for his first swim lessons and one parent has to be in the pool with him.

After hours of research and homework on line (what they hell is a "jogkini?") I bought the suit from Lands' End - who I love. I've been getting stuff from them for years. My last suit came from them and it has held up really well. The thing I like about it is that it's a "tankini" that has a tank top with shorts as the bottoms. No matronly swim skirt for me!

Of course I am doing this in reverse because I now have the high hopes that I just spent all this money on a suit that hopefully won't fit me at the end of the summer because I'm going to get back on my pre-pregnancy diet and make it stick.

Will this work? We shall see...
