"Head...Shoulders...Knees and...SOCKS!"

Yay birthday party!  I had a wee bit of anxiety as we headed over to the fire station this afternoon.  I don't think I've thrown a successful party since our wedding.  I worried that the cake wouldn't make it there in one piece, and that the kids wouldn't have a good time.  I brough Twister just in case.  We didn't even need it.  The fire people were impressed at how color coordinated everything was (what can I say?) and just loved the inflatable guitars and Beatles soundtrack we had playing.  Avi even introduced them to the Beastles.  Head over to aviblog to view the details.  And check out Shiny's new icon - sweet!

As one of the moms at the party stated: "Wow!  A Fireman/Beatles birthday party.  It's every girls dream!"

PS: I didn't drop the cake until I was literally walking back into our front door after the party.  Luckily John survived the fall, only to be eaten a few hours later!
