So as I was driving into work yesterday, a bird flew into the side of my car.  While I was driving.  Moving.  At like 35mph.  Crash, boom, splat.

This got me thinking - since I am being a vegetarian for the month - is this God's way of telling me that I should still be eating meat?  I mean even without eating meat for the month, I still managed to be responsible for the mindless death of an innocent animal?  Was this bird smited for a reason or greater meaning?
