Has anyone heard from SandyQuill?

Yesterday I got an email from my friend Dee, whose family lives in Punta Gorda. "A town I never thought would be a household name." Thank goodness that her sister, mother, and the rest of the family are all OK, safe, and while they had damage to their homes, the homes are still liveable and repairable. She also wrote "[Mom] said the only thing they needed was ice, which of course is the one thing I can't provide." Dee is going down this weekend to help her mom salvage what she can from the damaged portions of their home.

I have been getting lots of emails from my friends and former colleagues down south saying talking about drop off points for contributions, how to make financial contributions, and blood donations. I think it's great that we can all come together in times of need, and I want to remind everyone how important it is to help out others, because you never know when you will be the one needing that help.
