"Head...Shoulders...Knees and...SOCKS!"

So that last entry - A bit of a downer. Sorry for that - it was just what was on my mind at the time.

BIG Socks news at work. I have been selected to co-head up a major project. It is the first in a series to come. Basically what this will mean is that we have to do over a years worth of work in about a month. Yesterday was our first review meeting. We did pretty well on considering how little time we had to prepare our presentation. On top of all of this, I still have to do my normal job responsibilities and prepare my seminar talk for the end of the month. Did I mention that everything seems to be due at the same time? It's OK - I seem to be at my best when I'm under this kind of pressure. What I really need to do is sit down and write this damn presentation so that I will stop worrying about having not written it yet!
